Keep in mind this is NOT official lore
Everything here is made up by the community
Main theory[]
The Sims are Petri Dishes and are located inside multiple laboratories where people experiments on bibites to se how they react to different eviroments.
Bibite Research Conglomerate is the main laboratory/meetup hall where people from all over the world come together to share their research papers (community-research) and the result of their research (bibite-sharing). People also share tools that might help in research (tools) and also different types of petri dishes (bibite-mods).
In the Bibite Research Conglomerate people can collaborate on research, like the research: Apocalypse, Down with the Basics, Like Rabbits and many more.
Evolution[]
Evolution happens by bibites giving laying eggs. As a bibite lays an egg it passes it's genes to it's child where in the process the genes and brain gets mutated slightly.
Gene editing[]
Scientist are using simple tools to preform gene editing to alter how a bibite grows.
Brain editing[]
Some scientist have developed advanced tools for brain editing, which allows for directly editing the brain of a bibite. This allows direct control over how a bibite behave. This is useful when testing the limits of bibites by going past what evolution can offer.
Alternate Theory[]
Since bibites can't physically see us, we (the people running simulations) are gods that exist in the third dimension. There's a much higher inter-dimensional being that drastically updates the realities of this game beyond the gods (aka Omnia Studios)
BibiteBoi's theory[]
Bibites are a branch of life that was totally isolated from the rest of life in a cave for several billion years. There bibites evolved multicellularity independently and feed off of minerals and shit
They managed to do it better than our life though, they can reproduce way faster than our life. That is why they can grow several grams in like 20 minutes.
We (the people running simulations) are just researchers who uncovered them, and by releasing them probably have doomed all non-bibite life on earth.
The scale of a bibite[]
How long is a u? (Length measurements used in the game)
Based on the fact that we know both the weight of the bibite and their muscle force is given in N's, which I assumed were newtons (the creator actually said they aren't and are instead some other unit of force). If you assume they are newtons though, one u is about 2.8 kilometers long.
A basic bibite would be 3 kilometers long.
however, again N isn't newtons, it's something called newts. If you assume a single newt is a micro-newton, then a basic bibite is only about 8 cm long, which is reasonable for something it's weight.
Melting Diamond's theory[]
Simulations are not petri dishes because when you turn off the shade or back in 0.5.1 the bibites could travel an infinite distance away from the center of the map. The void is infinite, but the area where pellet spawning zones can exist is only a small slice of the void.
That means there might be many small slices where life is spawning in the same universe. Similar to the multiverse theory.
This has not yet been verified because the distance between the slices is to large to be traversed by bibites (or researches studying this)
Wormhole technology[]
What has been discovered is that by running the game a portal to a random slice is created. This lead a crazy scientist to start experimenting with wormhole technology (Sim-Link). Bringing the void between the slices by linking simulations together.
What dimension do bibites live in?[]
All of the math in the game assume that it's 2D space, stuff that would follow a square cube law follows a line square law, mass scales quadratically, armor scales linearly, etc.. However the game can't be 2D as we can't see their organs from above, leading me to believe that all bibites are super flat and only vary in width and length.
Bibite taste[]
Bibites might taste like cockroaches or crunchy shrimp depending on what species you decide to eat.
Bibites come in so many sizes so the smaller ones might be like tiny shrimp, but the big ones might be like lobster.
And their eyes can take up a huge part of their body, those are like gushers.
