The Bibites Wiki
  • This Wiki will try to detail and explain as many mechanics of the Bibites simulation-project as possible. Here, you'll be able to find most of the information freely available. Although the information provided may be slightly convoluted or complicated, we encourage simplifications to difficult-to-understand concepts to help readers who have difficulties reading.

About The Bibites[]

The Bibites is an ongoing (2016-today) Artificial Life project developed by Léo Caussan which started out as a humble passion project. Its main goal was to prove that life can adapt and survive through the forces of natural selection and other mechanisms of evolution despite current technological limitations.

The main agents of the simulation are Bibites.

An algorithm loosely based on the NeuroEvolution of Augmenting Topologies (NEAT) algorithm is used to simulate and evolve the brains of Bibites, and the software uses the Unity framework for development.

The Bibites can be compared to other artificial-life games, such as Conway's game of life, Evolv.io, and Gridlife no page found.
